Travel Card

No maximum limit set to reload a travel card.

No minimum fee applicable to reload on a travel card.

Travel card does not expired even if not used over a lengthy period of time.

Yes, using only one travel card may purchase more than one ticket per trip.

  • Stored Value

At our sales office at the Victoria, Anse aux Pins Terminal and Praslin depot, Amitier with a valid National Identity card.

 

  • Corporate card

Since SPTC offers the corporate service directly to businesses. Card registration is done through the company by your employer.

 

  • Student card

The Yellow and Green student card is administered by your respective school management. Whereas, the red card is administered by the Ministry of Education at student affairs department that will issue a supporting document to bring to the SPTC sales office for card issuing.

 

  • Workers/ Parents special

SPTC required an employment certificate from your employer or a confirmation letter from the child-minding service /Daycare center affirming your full name, NIN, and both business address and your address. It is required that the official letter entails a business letterhead, stamped and countersigned. The applicant shall be contacted once the card is ready for collection.

 

  • Disable person’s card

The card is processed at the Victoria Terminal sales office after obtaining approval from National Council for Disabled along with your ID card.

The card needs to be re-validate annually at the same office due to strict control measures.

 

  • Pensioners Card

The card is processed at the Victoria Terminal sales office with a valid National Identity card as a support document for verification.

Pensioner’s card needs to re-validate annually at same office due to strict control.

A travel card is FREE upon registration for first time users excluding the corporate card.


  • Physically at SPTC sales office on Mahe and Praslin.

  • Through SPTC website: sptc.sc (Coming Soon)

  • Using your travel application named SPTC travel which is compatible on both Android and IOS technology.

Bus Times

  • Real-time information of bus stops and times is easily accessible on the SPTC travel application.
  • By downloading the bus timetable on our website sptc.sc/timetable
  • Commuters may call the operations customer service on 4280 245 or 4325252 to be assisted with any queries.

Luggage

For safety reasons, it is not allowed to travel with oversized items since the SPTC buses is not equipped with luggage compartments.

Pet is not allowed onboard the bus.

  • SPTC is not responsible for any lost items anywhere.

 

  • If the driver or staff recovers lost property from the bus it is conveyed at our customer service office. Call +4280 280 to check if your lost item was recovered and to arrange a pick up.

Terms & Conditions

Standard bus fares is Rs7 rupees all day during operating hours.

Crèche, Primary and Secondary students pays is Rs2 rupees using a school card and travel within a set timeframe to benefit from the subsidized fare.

Children or toddlers pays the standard fares of Rs7 if occupying a seat onboard.

If something was forgotten, contact enquiries@sptc.sc by email or call 4280 280 to reach our customer service team. We will need your trip ID, on which trip the item was lost and a description of the missing item. We will then contact the respective bus driver and notify you immediately.

Passengers must conduct in a manner that is safe and appropriate for our drivers, SPTC property and other commuters onboard.
